About the Role:
The sole purpose of the internship is to nurture new talent in the field. Candidates are not expected to manage any actual workloads beyond studying and participating in projects to gain practical experience. internship focuses heavily on building a strong foundation for participants, concentrating primarily on Linux, Networking, Containers, Kubernetes, DevOps tooling, scripting, and task automation.
Required Qualifications:
Basic Understanding of Linux Operating Systems Familiarity with the basic concepts of Linux and Unix-like operating systems. Understanding of the Linux file system hierarchy, basic shell commands, and the command line interface (CLI).
Basic Networking Knowledge - Understanding of fundamental networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and basic network troubleshooting commands (ping, ifconfig/ip, netstat, traceroute).
Introductory Knowledge of Shell Scripting - understand simple shell scripts to automate routine tasks, involving basic scripting constructs like loops, conditionals, and formatting tools (gawk, grep, sed etc..).
Familiarity with common Linux Services - SSH, FTP, DNS, and HTTPD/NGINX
Understanding of Security Fundamentals - Selinux, Firewalld, auditd, etc..
Fluency in English, as all provided materials will be in English and must be comprehended fully without compromise.
